Call to book

Whether you are feeling lonely in your relationship, yearn for greater connection with your partner, anticipate future issues or just desire to enhance what you already have together, I am here to support you using proven methods that really work to make a difference in your relationship. My motivation for this work is grounded in my own relationship with my husband of 18 years. We have 4 children, and I know how hard it can be to prioritize our relationship in the midst of a busy and sometimes chaotic life!   My passion is to help other couples stay connected using the tools the Gottman Method offers to nurture your love for each other over the lifetime of your relationship.

My educational background includes a Master of Arts in Counseling degree from Northern Arizona University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Community Health from Ohio University. I am a Licensed Independent Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor and National Board-Certified Counselor. The heart of my practice is working with couples providing premarital, marital and couples counseling. I specialize in using the renowned Gottman Method and am a Certified Gottman Therapist. I provide individual and couples therapy entirely online for people located in Ohio. I am always happy to do a free 20 minute consult call with you to see if we are a good fit.

Certifications

The Gottman Method, developed by John and Julie Gottman, transforms relationships with a proven, science-backed approach. From helping couples reconnect to finding better, more effective ways to overcome conflict, The Gottmans' work has brought healing, hope, and deeper connection to countless relationships. Whether you want to enhance your relationship with good tools for the road ahead or find your way back to a felt sense of love with your long term partner, The Gottman Method offers support every step of the way.

The NCC credential is awarded by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC), the leading national certification organization for professional counselors. This voluntary certification signifies that I have met rigorous national standards beyond state licensure requirements and remain committed to ongoing education, ethical practice, and clinical excellence.

This training reflects specialized education in LGBTQ+ identities, inclusive language, and creating welcoming environments that support clients of all gender identities and sexual orientations
