Joshua Brown MFT-T
(He/Him) Marriage and Family Therapist
What problem do you strive to overcome?
Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected in your relationship? Do you avoid important conversations because you are sure it will end up in an argument? While avoidance can feel protective in the moment, it often leads to resentment, escalation, and long‑term relational strain. If you’re noticing these patterns, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to navigate them without support.
I provide therapy informed by the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), tailoring each session to your experiences, needs, and goals. Together, we will identify unmet emotional needs, clarify the interactional cycles that keep you feeling stuck, and work toward more secure, meaningful ways of connecting.
I offer a warm, grounded, and compassionate therapeutic space designed to foster emotional safety and encourage growth. My work focuses on strengthening communication, deepening emotional awareness, and building practical tools that support healthier relational patterns. As an MFT‑T, I am committed to ongoing learning, supervision, and evidence‑informed practice to ensure you receive thoughtful, clinically sound care. I meet weekly with Sara W. Floreth, Certified Gottman Therapist, to discuss cases which gives you the benefit of two professionals working on your case at a lower session price.
Reaching out is a significant step. I welcome the opportunity to learn more about what you’re hoping to change, heal, or strengthen in your life and relationships.
